DirksOutdoors
David Dirks was the weekly outdoor columnist for The Times Herald-Record since 1999. He is was also the host and producer of the DirksOutdoors radio show on WTBQ FM/AM here in the Hudson Valley (www.WTBQ.com) — one of the only weekly outdoor radio shows of its kind in New York State. Dave has written & published over 7 books on a variety freshwater fishing topics, including trout and bass fishing. He is author of the popular multi-book series on Tenkara Fly Fishing.
He is also producer of the popular video series, “Tying Flies in the Catskill Tradition” that features the late David Brandt (Dries), Floyd Franke (Nymphs), Bert Darrow (Streamers), and Ralph Graves (Wets). Dave produces the DirksOutdoors YouTube Channel with 5600+ and growing subscribers.
